How We Train at MOA
Every MOA session hits three things: a barbell, a kettlebell, and the kid's own bodyweight. Not as a warm-up. Not as a finisher. As the actual workout.
Barbell. Back squat, deadlift, overhead press, power clean from the floor, and floor rows. These five lifts build the foundation every athlete needs — and every non-athlete deserves. We teach them the way they should be taught: with coaching, with a warm-up set, and with weight that matches the kid, not the coach's ego.
Kettlebell. Goblet squats, swings, carries, and presses. Kettlebells fill in the gaps barbells leave — unilateral work, rotational strength, and the kind of athletic conditioning that shows up on a field or court.
Bodyweight. Chin-ups (banded if needed), push-ups, air squats, glute bridges, flutter kicks. The stuff that builds a kid who can move their own body through space. The stuff that holds up when they're 45, too.
No machines pretending to be training. No circuits that look like a workout video. Just the three modalities that build real strength, real athleticism, and real confidence.
